A search for the image of the city as it feels and no longer as it is visible. A new reality in which the composition of buildings is demolished and redesigned.

In de solotentoonstelling ‘Transition’ van Martin de Jong is recent en nieuw werk te zien. Zijn laatste bezoek aan de stad New York zorgde voor een overvloed aan inspiratie. Een zoektocht naar het beeld van de stad zoals het voelt en niet langer zoals het zichtbaar is. Een nieuwe werkelijkheid waarbij de compositie van  bebouwing wordt afgebroken en opnieuw ingericht.
