Pop-up in oude Renaultgarage in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid

Popinnart organiseert in het weekend van 11 en 12 september na 1,5 jaar lockdown weer een grote tentoonstelling vlakbij het Museumplein. De enorme industriële hal van 1000 m2, een ­verstopte parel in hartje Oud-Zuid, zal getransformeerd worden tot een expositieruimte met installaties, ­schilderijen, tekeningen, fotografie en textiel. Hier presenteren de 24 kunstenaars hun werk zoals ze zijn: origineel, ambitieus, enthousiast, zonder opsmuk, fris en actueel.

Alleen al de rauwe ruimte zelf wil je ervaren, voordat ook deze tegen de vlakte gaat. De verplichte 1,5 meter afstand houden is op deze goed geventileerde megalocatie geen enkel probleem. Er is geen officiële opening en we houden ons aan de coronaregels.

Pop-up in old Renault garage in Amsterdam Oud-Zuid

Popinnart is organizing another major exhibition near Museumplein on the weekend of September 11 and 12 after 1.5 years of lockdown. The enormous industrial hall of 1000 m2, a hidden gem in the heart of Oud-Zuid, will be transformed into an exhibition space with installations, paintings, drawings, photography and textiles. Here the 24 artists present their work as it is: original, ambitious, enthusiastic, unadorned, fresh and current.

You just want to experience the raw space itself before it too is demolished. Keeping the mandatory 1.5 meter distance is no problem at this well-ventilated mega location. There is no official opening and we adhere to the corona rules.
